Behind the Sound of Samuelsen Sound

Past. Present. Future.

Andrew Samuelsen grew up surrounded by music and was always enthralled by its effect on him. He started taking piano lessons as a young boy, and was involved in every Honor Choir in Indiana from 4th-12th grade. He performed in Show choirs, many musical theater productions, and Barbershop quartets.

He earned his Bachelor's Degree in 2022 from BYU-Idaho in Vocal Performance/ Music composition. While there, he studied Vocal Jazz and some percussion and continued performing in choirs and Barbershop Quartets. He put together an hour-long recital of Original Music, including an Electronic Requiem containing 4 movements.

After graduating, he continues to write music and has jumped head-first into the world of sound design. He now teaches music lessons and proceeds to hone his craft.

When he isn't working, you can find Andrew outdoors, playing games, or building a guitar.
